Training Opportunities

Internships for Master's Level Students and Post-Graduate Students

We are Champaign-Urbana and surrounding communities--we live, work, and raise our families in your community. We understand your issues, your concerns, and your daily life. The Rock Counseling Group is a multi-specialty private mental health and wellness group practice that works collaboratively with local individuals, families, schools, and community partners. As a fellow mental health professional, know that we've got your specialized needs for training and education at the forefront.  We would love for you to consider The Rock Counseling Group for your internship or post-graduate experience. 

At The Rock Counseling Group, we provide our interns with an opportunity to grow and develop their professional and clinical skills.  You will be able to enhance your assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills while working toward professional licensure. 

We will work together to establish professional goals, assess clinical and professional knowledge, enhance strengths and address areas for growth. You will gain skills and experience in areas that are unfamiliar to you. You will be encouraged and challenged to step out of your comfort zone and try new clinical techniques and strategies. The team at The Rock is experienced, multi-faceted, and comprised of long-standing professionals in this community. We will guide and support you as you develop your own unique, professional style and work toward your licensure in Illinois. 

We work in conjunction with local and national colleges and universities and are well-versed in the criteria needed to meet the requirements for these programs.  We provide internships for Master's Level Social Workers, Professional Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, and more.  Please contact us to see how we may assist you in your educational journey.
